Goals...

Everyone has something to strive for, something that keeps them going weather it be education, love, money, power etc. These are goals, they push people to do certain things to achieve what they want. Which will usually shape people's future and people become ambitious to do what makes them happy. Also, when people acknowledge that you have accomplish your goals you start to become a idol to them such as your siblings, and family members. Everyone will know that almost every decision you make is to help you accomplish your goal, since your only given certain number of opportunities to fulfill your goal.

I mean , my goal this year is to become more social, and it is pretty hard, I am pushing my self to do things I have never done before which make me uncomfortable but overtime it will help with other goals I have. It can help make business relationships in the future. It also helps me stand out, since people tend to remember the outgoing and optimistic people and prefer to interact with those people. In conjunction with that, I also want to become more organized and not procrastinate as much because when I leave things till last minute I don't do as well as I could.

  1. I empathize with you regarding the difficulties of socialization but unquestionably agree that stepping out of your comfort zone can have a multitude of positive outcomes. In addition to the outcomes you noted, for example, heightened sociability increasing the number of opportunities you receive in relation future business pursuits, I can imagine enhancing this quality would also be advantageous within this specific class, especially because of the expectations that have been set for us regarding general participation. I understand your statements concerning procrastination as well, for getting off task is something I constantly find myself doing, and I often regret doing so in the long run. Seeing as it tends to affect the quality of my work in addition to my sleep habits, I too hope to improve my considerably poor time-management skills this school year. Although procrastinating can be a strenuous habit to break, I'm sure many people could also benefit from learning to better manage their time. Diminishing the frequency at which one procrastinates would undoubtedly be beneficial, even in endeavors unrelated to academics. That being said, I wish you luck in reaching the goals you've set for yourself this year!
