Importance of Goals
Creating a hard to attain goal that will remain unachieved for a long period of time will open up a rabbit hole that you will continue to dig deeper into the depths. Therefore, the significance of reasonable and time sensitive goals will prevent chasing something unattainable and potentially leading to a lack of self worth. For this year and years to follow I plan on striving to broaden my selection of literature to indulge in, specifically philosophical pieces since understanding and questioning human nature fascinates me as well as hopefully influencing me to improve upon myself and my relations with others. Academically, I want to improve on my style of writing not necessarily for a higher letter grade, but for the sole purpose for me to be proud of my personal writing creations outside of school. In the future it is the obvious desire to go to a four year university and become a financial advisor to fulfill that dream I've had since I was little. However, it is more important to me to become a good father for my kids, and that career path would be an obstacle hindering the amount of interaction I'd be able to spend with them. Although, it would allow me to provide a stable household due to the gracious paycheck. As a whole these goals are not as prevalent or important to me since they're a rather large unknown and set somewhat in the distant future.
