Goals are essential for a productive life and achieving them could possibly shape you into a better person with healthier habits. Setting unrealistic goals for yourself however can damage your self-esteem and discourage you from setting new goals.
I hope to achieve many goals this year and in the future through hard work and self improvement. Some of my goals this year is to achieve at least a 4.2 gpa and to improve my personal record throughout the year in cross country and in track. Most importantly, I want to overccome my shyness and believe in myself more so my fears could stop holding me back from achieving my goals for the future.
My goals for the future are what motivates me to never give up in the present. I want to attend a prestigious, 4-year university and become a mechanical engineer. By becoming a mechanical engineer I want to leave an impact in the world by making advancements in technology that would benefit the human race and hopefully inspire others to help those in need. In addition, I want to support my family with financial problems that I will be able to solve when I get a job.
