Who is your "Batman?"
Based on the comic books written by Frank Miller, I can see that Batman is a heroic figure. The city of Gotham does not understand this, but Batman is fighting crimes in order to save its citizens. In the real world, I think the person that epitomizes Batman is Donald Trump, the current president of the United States. There are plenty of people that like Donald Trump, but there are also many people that cannot stand him. He has his followers, and his haters just like Batman does. But even though people do not like him, every move he makes affects everyone, and he does it for our own good. There are pros and cons to every one of his ideas such as building the wall. I did not like the idea because it can keep people out of America and prevent them from achieving their dreams, but it can also block out criminals that try to smuggle drugs into the U.S. Although Trump has not gotten into fights with his enemies, he does negotiate in order to maintain peace for the sake of America. He recently just "united" North and South Korea, which is incredible because no living soul could ever get them to maintain peace with each other. People consider him a hero because not only is he making good decisions for America, but he is also helping out other countries to keep peace among themselves.
My Batman
The person in my life who i consider to be my Batman is my mom. In the novel Batman faces many obsticals like returning to become batman again. He has to deal with fighting at a old age, make tough decisions, and doing the best to protect the people of Gotham. Some of the characteristics Batman has is strong, brave, intelligent, and independent. The reason i say my mom is my Batman is because my mom has all these characteristics. She is strong, brave, and she also has to make tough descions. For example everytime my family needs something or were passing through something difficult she always makes the right descion in a small time span. For example in the novel when Batman is facing the joker Batman has robin fighting else where and make sure everything is okay while he is fighting the joker in a small time span. To continue my mom has always been there for my family and she does many things on her own. She is very independent and very resourceful like batman. She uses all her tools like we see batman do when he fights superman. Lastly the one thing Batman and my mom have in common is anything they do whether it is something small or big they are always prepared and ready to confront anything, because of this she does many things for me and my family. That is why i consider my mom to be my Batman.

My Batman
The Batman in my life would have to be my father. He is a good man and he stands up for what is right. Just like Batman in the book, he is humble and we wants to do good at all times. He is one of the best people that I know in my life and he is one of the only people I look up to. Batman in the novel is a dark and mysterious man, but he just wants to serve justice. My father can be mysterious at times, but one difference between them is that there is no doubt that my father is a good man. Just as Batman had to be strong throughout the book, even when he almost died, my father has always shown strength, sometimes when he has none. Batman may be a superhero, but my Batman is even better.
Batman???
Personally, the Batman figure in my life would be my uncle. He is someone that I have always looked up to in my life and asked for advice. He use to be in the army for a long time so he made it really high up in the change and has been on tours. Out there, he has to really think critically to do the better for our nation, instead of taking the easy way out or being scared of fighting. During his time in the military, he had many opportunities to get out on medical or injury leaves but he got surgery to stay in and continue fighting. These actions of literally fighting for your life and not leaving really inspires me to do big things to me, but little compared to his situations.
Who is your Batman?
The person that epitomizes Batman for me would be my dad. He's my Batman because he would do anything for the greater good even if the way isn't the most logical way to do that. He is just that person that I know that would do anything for anyone no matter what and doesn't show any emotion. He is the biggest helper you can find. He just reminds me of Batman because the way he works his family. He does everything for me and even when he does a dumb thing or says a thing that doesn't make sense to me, I know it is for my good. My dad is just the heroic figure in my family because he does everything you can think of. I feel like his characteristics are alike with Batman because he cares, but doesn't show it and would do anything for good. I also see the way he treats Robin as the way he treats me and my brother. He cares so much for us but doesn't display it, but will always do the things to tell us he does. He is the most determined to do anything for his family and the good of the people. My dad is my hero to me and if I were to choose a hero, it would definitely be Batman.
Who is Your Batman?
One figure in my life who embodies the characteristics of Batman is my grandmother. More reserved and sometimes a bit of a recluse, as Batman was, my grandmother would not be expected to do the things that she does and has done in the past. Like Batman, she exhibited great bravery and courage as she moved my family from Taiwan to the United States with little money in order to provide a stronger education and life for my mom, my aunts, and my uncles. She shared Batman's attribute of sacrificing comfort and, sometimes, her own well-being for the greater benefit of others around, taking up low-paying, less than favorable jobs to provide for her family. Despite the consequences of taking such risks, she persisted and kept working hard, even when times were tough. Her stubbornness showed in her refusal to use food stamps when her family struggled to get eat every day, and this is similarly displayed by Batman, who, even when it was difficult, refused to give up on a fight or take the easier way out. My grandmother is fiercely independent, disliking when she is told what to do, and she prefers to stay behind-the-scenes, making sure that everything is running smoothly for everyone else and doesn't seek attention, relating to Batman's vigilante status and work outside of the media and hidden from everyone in Gotham, for the most part. Both Batman and my grandmother are similar in their bravery, their reclusive nature, stubbornness, and willingness to make sacrifices for the greater benefit of others around them. I am extremely thankful for all that she has done to benefit my family.
Who is your Batman?
Anyone can be Batman. It doesn't have to be a male, it could be a female. Just like Robin was a teenage girl in the novel. My Batman would be my grandmother. Like Batman she shows a lot of characteristics like being brave, being their own person, and looking out for those who are in need of help. My grandmother is 71 years old and she is still to me the bravest person I know. She will climb a 6 foot ladder just to put back in a window and she doesn't care who she runs into. Even if you are 6 foot and weigh 300 pounds and she meets you in the darkest tunnel of the city. She will literally walk up to you and say "get the hell out my way!" in Spanish, which makes it even funnier. She does whatever she wants and no one tells her otherwise, not me or my mom. Just like Batman, he won't care about what the media or the police say. She always helps me out when I am a tough situation. She may not help me with my schoolwork, but when it comes to dealing with people that I don't know she gave a lot of tips. When it would be just me and her walking in the streets, if other people keep looking at us in an odd way, she will give them a look that basically says,"come at me bro". Batman wouldn't fear anyone no matter how big and scary they look. Like how he wanted to fight the mutant gang leader so badly, he went without hesitation. She is my Batman, my hero, my guardian, but most importantly she is my grandmother and I love her for who she is.
