Who Epitomizes Batman
A person who I think epitomizes the characteristics of Batman is my Uncle Gerome. I consider him to be a Batman-like figure because he is smart, makes a lot of money, is muscular, and is outgoing. The actions that he takes are for the good for his family because he is a family-oriented guy and would sacrifice anything for them. Batman wants the youth to be in a safe environment where they can make the world a better place, so he sacrifices his life everyday to fight crime, therefore making it safe for the youth. This is connected to my Uncle because his family is like Batman's youth because they both want to protect them. My uncle is also like Batman because they are both heroes. My uncle saved my mom from injury and drowning when we went camping at Lake Tahoe. My mom fell out of the river raft when we went white river rafting, which are very fast rapids full of rocks. She fell out of the raft, so my uncle dove into the water to save her and was successful. This shows that he has similar characteristics of Batman like bravery, courage, and a savior. If it wasn't for my uncle, my mom could've drowned and I wouldn't have a mom, so I am forever grateful for he is my Batman that saves the day.

That was extremely brave for your uncle to do, and bravery is a very obvious trait of Batman. I think that it's important for everyone to have a "Batman" figure in their life, someone whom you can rely on. It's wonderful that you have that "Batman" figure and that you've seen him in action!
ReplyDeleteIt is astonishing that your uncle was willing to jump into the water to save your mother because there are only a few people who could actually do that. Because of his heroic action, I could see why you chose him as your Batman since he was willing to sacrifice himself to save another person. Although he is not my uncle, I could unquestionably view him as a Batman in this world.
