My Batman
My Batman would be none other than my brother who has been an influence and an important caretaker to me. My brother, Sebastian, has always been intelligent and aware almost to a fault ever since he was a child and exposed to the harsh realities of the world that strips a child of their innocence and blissful ignorance. This correlates to Bruce Wayne since he witnessed his parents get murdered in cold blood which shapes the progression of Bruce Wayne's life into a reclusive and dismal Batman. Much like Batman, Sebastian takes actions to things that walk the edge of a conventional morality and a chaotic good such as Robin Hood who steals from the self-indulgent rich in order to help the poor. As many other esteemed people in society have said, Aristotle once stated that, "No great mind has existed without a touch of madness." This is evident in Batman's somber perspective within himself and even Commissioner Gordon who has been exposed to the truth for so long his mind is plagued with negative insights. Although, my brother has witnessed the negative actions man takes on one another, he continues to go out of his way and inconveniences himself to lend a hand to those dear to him such as friends, family, and especially me as his little brother. He's also exemplified the importance of remaining true to yourself and not focus on the opinions of people with little substance to what they have to say. Similar to how Batman completely disregards the media because he's aware their words come from a place of premeditated bias to push an agenda. However, this doesn't discourage Batman from continuing to carry out his actions that he believes are for the common good of the people.
